There are two main kinds of fillings available at our office, amalgam fillings and composite fillings.
What is an amalgam filling?
An amalgam filling is made of a mixture of metal alloys. Amalgam fillings are silver in color and are regarded as very durable.
What is a composite filling?
A composite filling is created from a material called composite resin. This material is tinted to match the natural color of your tooth, and the resin bonds with your natural tooth structure for a lasting, strong restoration.
